Description of objectDescription:The house is on two floors. On the ground floor are the lounge and kitchen/diner and wc with wash basin. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is situated in an elevated position on the edge of the village of Chlorakas, with magnificent sea views, less than 30minutes from Paphos airport. The village itself is a short walk away, where you will find a variety of shops for your convenience. Lounge: The lounge is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas, coffee table, tv, dvd player, and clock/radio. There are sliding patio doors leading to the terrace and patio area. The lounge also has air conditioning. Kitchen/Diner The kitchen / diner is well equipped with dining table and chairs (seating 4 persons). Cooker with oven, hob and grill, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric juicer and washing machine. A range of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils are also provided. The oven has a child resistant oven door catch. For your added safety there is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Please note there is NO GAS supplied to the house. Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside cabinets, clock radio, fitted wardrobes, hair dryer. Air conditioning. Patio doors leading onto balcony – at the front of the house. Bedroom 2: Twin beds, bedside cabinets, clock radio, fitted wardrobes. Air conditioning. Patio doors onto a balcony – back of the house. Bathroom: The bathroom is on the first floor. There is a bath with shower over, wash basin and w.c. Outside: At the front of the house there is a terrace with steps down to the patio area. A table, chairs and parasol are provided along with a barbecue for your al fresco meals. Sun beds and mattresses are also provided. At the rear of the property there is a private parking area and access to communal pool which is only a few yards away from the house. Please note the house has a no smoking policy.. – Additional Information All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided. The house is cleaned and fresh linen provided prior to your arrival. All linen is changed weekly. A complimentary refreshment pack is provided to cover your immediate needs on arrival. There is also the option to upgrade this to a more comprehensive pack, however this would incur an additional cost. See the relevant page in this booklet. The mains supply is 240v in common with the UK, as are the main sockets which are all 13amp. The water is heated by Solar energy and there is an immersion heater as a back up. The water is safe for drinking and in the kitchen there is a separate supply for this purpose. Baby travel cots and high chairs can be arranged at additional costs. If required, arrangements can also be made to have a supply of baby products (nappies, formula, baby food etc) ready for your arrival. These items are readily available in the local supermarkets. Airport Collection. This can be arranged if required. Alternatively, if you are considering car hire we will be pleased to organise this for you at very competitive rates, the cost to be paid locally on collection/delivery of the car. See relevant page in this booklet with prices. Driving in Cyprus is on the left, the same as the UK, with petrol costing approx 54p per litre. We will also provide you with specific directions from the airport to the house. The Location: From the front terrace, the house commands stunning views over the coastline and Kato Paphos. A particularly pretty sight in the evenings. A short distance away, approximately 10minutes walk, you will arrive on Tombs of the Kings road where you will find the archaeological site of Tombs of the Kings, a variety of shops, bars and restaurants and tavernas. At the bottom of the road are 2 bus stops, one on each side. A five or ten minute walk will take you into Chlorakas village, where you will find various small shops, a supermarket, tavernas, a bank and a chemist. Surrounding area Although everything is within easy reach by local bus, a car is recommended, to enable you to explore further afield. A ten minute drive in one direction will take you to the sandy beach at Coral Bay. Further along you will find the Sea Caves area and Lara bay. In the opposite direction is Kato Paphos with its many bars, restaurants, shops and the picturesque harbour where you can take a ride in a glass-bottom boat, hire a speed-boat, visit one of the largest archaeological sites on the island (a Must see) or just relax with a drink and watch the world go by! There are 3 championship golf courses in the Paphos area: Tsada, Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills. (the house is within easy reach of all of them), a water park next to go karts and crazy golf, just 20 mins drive away in one direction and a bird park, the same distance in the other direction. During December, January and February, it is possible to ski in the Troodos mountains and sunbathe on the beaches of Paphos all in the same day.
